Typing practice
Almost everything a call taker learns is typed while somebody is still speaking. These modules measure how fast and how accurately you type, and how well you hold up when the words keep coming whether you are ready or not.
This is practice only. It is not an application, no agency sees your results, and nothing is recorded about you.
Copy the Text
Copy a passage exactly as it appears on screen. Measures raw typing speed and accuracy.
The passage is on screen and you copy it. This measures raw speed and accuracy with nothing else in the way — the closest thing here to a standard typing test.

Keep Pace
Type along with a recording that never waits. Pick your speed and find the pace you can hold.
The recording plays straight through and never waits. This measures whether you can stay with a caller in real time, which is what the job actually asks of you. You choose the speed.

Statement by Statement
Type each statement in the gap after you hear it. Measures accuracy when you cannot see the words.
You hear a statement, then get a gap to type it before the next one. This measures accuracy when you cannot see the words, only hear them — and you choose both the speed and how long the statements are.
